Aluminum powder coating

Aluminum profile powder coating is an environmentally friendly non-waste technology for obtaining high-quality protective and protective-decorative coatings of aluminum profiles. It provides an impact-resistant anti-corrosion coating design that operates in the temperature range of -60 to + 150C, providing reliable electrical isolation. Before applying paint on the profile, it is hung. For combined profiles, holes are drilled in the aluminum part.

In the construction of translucent structures, powder-coated aluminum profiles are widely used. This treatment is an alternative to liquid paint, resulting in a highly durable and beautiful finish․ Aluminum profile powder coating: preparation of the product for painting by degreasing, phosphating, rinsing, and drying.

Application of aluminum powder coating in a special spray chamber. Melting and polarization of the powder mixture on the surface at a temperature recommended for a certain paint, cooling of processed products, quality control, packaging of products in a protective film, and powder coating of metal profiles have a number of advantages: the long service life of products (20 years or more), aesthetic appearance, reliable protection against corrosion, environmental safety due to the absence of harmful impurities and toxic solvents, resistance to temperature changes, providing electrical insulation․

Aluminum profile degreasing

Preparing the surface of aluminum profiles before powder coating is usually done by immersing the profiles - on hangers or in baskets - in a line of baths that contain various chemical solutions, as well as clean water to rinse the profiles between different baths. Most manufacturers of aluminum profiles use chromatin to prepare the surface for painting.

During the aluminum profile degreasing, removes oils, fats, greases, and other contaminants from the surface of the aluminum profile to obtain a clean surface before the pickling step. Various inhibitors are added to the degreasing solution to prevent too much metal etching during this surface-cleaning operation.

The temperature of the solution in the degreasing bath is usually from 50 to 70 ºС, and the processing time is 3-4 minutes or more, depending on the surface condition of the profiles.

Powder coating of aluminum profiles with heat-resistant paint

Heat-resistant paint for metal allows you to provide the surface and the product as a whole with reliable protection from moisture and other negative factors, corrosion, and destruction. At the same time, the paint does not crack and does not fall off the surface if heating occurs, this is its uniqueness and the main difference from conventional analogs of powder paints.

Speaking about powder coating of aluminum profiles with heat-resistant paint, it should be borne in mind that it is divided into types depending on the maximum permissible heating temperature at which the paint retains its characteristics, properties, and appearance. There are three groups: paints for temperatures up to + 80-100 degrees (pipes and radiators in the heating system, other slightly heated surfaces); for temperature conditions up to +650 degrees (for example, boilers, stoves, fireplaces, etc.). Moreover, our production capabilities and modern equipment allow us to provide the entire profile processing chain, starting from heat treatment of aluminum ingots to powder coating of aluminum profiles.
